Dirk Friese
Born and grown up in Essen/Germany.
Following several years living in Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Berlin, I finally moved to Landin (Westhavelland), where I currently live and work.
After unfinished University studies with a focus on cultural work and art therapy and an employment in the Ministry of Culture of North-Rhine-Westphalia I did an apprenticeship as an ergotherapist with subsequent, long-time work in the psychiatric field.
During these years I worked with various artistic and craft media and techniques, especially working with clay / ceramics and photography.
From 2009 to 2011: training as a ceramist with Felix Reinhard Mields at the Künstlerhof Blankenfelde in Berlin and the ceramist school in Naumburg.
Also since 2009 own artistic work with experimental photography and development of the Kunfando images.
At the end of 2012 I moved to Landin where I put up my own workshop and the Atelier Saralya - www.keramik.saralya.de (only in German).
